I just wanted to post a quick photo from our recent outing to Mt. Madonna County Park. On this trip, it was a little cooler and we had one day of rain. A plus about this campsite, (maybe a minus) is that we are only 10 miles from the Gilroy outlets. When it rained, the family and I were able to brave the crowds for black Friday and pick up some great deals.
We loved the big site with power and electrical hook-ups in the Valley View I campground. The site was so big that we were able to setup the badminton net and still have plenty of room.
The only issue during the trip is when the power went out in the campground on the last night. Not a big issue, as the trusted tent trailer furnace kept us warm for the evening. This was actually the first time I used the furnace in the tent trailer. Normally a small ceramic heater is all that is needed to keep us warm and toasty during our fall and winter camping outings.
